The following organizations focus on helping poor and needy children around the world.  Most of the organizations can be found on a Web site called www.give.org, which examines each organization’s financial accountability standards. www.give.org is sponsored by the Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance: a merger of the National Charities Information Bureau and the Council of Better Business Bureau’s Foundation and its Philanthropic Advisory Service.  A few organizations are ones that I am personally familiar with and are also recommend.  The list is far from exhaustive, but provides a good starting point of exceptional trustworthy organizations to start your own journey to live and give with joy.
