General Information

Dale was born in Freeport Illinois, his mother was a house wife and father a fireman.  The family grew to six children and found themselves living below the poverty line when it was first established in the 1960'S.  Dale was an inquisitive child, his mother called him the absent minded professor.

Life working at NASA

Dale worked at a rather small NASA center, allowing one to know most everyone else.  The Center Director called everyone the Dryden family, which was true.  The work was experimental, which made it fun and challenging.  Dale received many awards for his work including best paper at a large conference on digital avionics. His NASA Outstanding Leadership medal was a career highlight.

Being a Christian

Life as a Christian has been so fulfilling and joyful.  It is a lifetime experience of learning and growing.  I will never forget the miracle when my wife was diagnosed with an brain tumor.  The day before we were to meet the surgeon, who planned to operate, our pastor and elders prayed for my wife and I at six o'clock that night.  The next day, with fear in our hearts as to how well she might be able to function after the surgery, we saw the surgeon.  He said he was reviewing Karen's charts the night before and decided to only do a biopsy, and then try chemotherapy.  What an answer to prayers!  No surgery, and she was cured with radiation and chemo!  I now let God work through me to help save the forgotten children of the world.
Dale is married to his bride Karen and live in central California.  They have three sons and four grandkids!
